As we close out another year I  want to thank everyone involved with the Long Island Wildlife Photography group for making it one of the best stops on the internet.  I also want to thank Jim Botta and the rest of the administrators that help keep the page running smoothly.  With over 12,500 members it isn’t easy to keep things under control.  The amount of engagement on the page is incredible with over 30,000 posts and well over 1 million comments and reactions over the past year.  I am amazed every week by what members are seeing and sharing with the rest of us.

I am also extremely impressed with the overall quality of the images.  It is great to see members continually improving throughout the year.   I look forward to seeing what they come up with next year.

With the help of Jim Botta, we picked out about 70 images taken this week to end the year with an incredible collection of Long Island Winter wildlife.

If you have the time, try to scroll through all seven pages and have a Happy and Healthy New Year!
