The last few weeks of weather seem more typical for March rather than February with huge temperature swings, a little snow, and a lot of fog.  Winter may have a few more surprises in store but signs of spring abound as you will see in the huge gallery below from the Long Island Sun Chasers.

Besides the Sun moving North and bringing a ton of new locations into play for sunrise and sunset,  we now have almost two more hours of daylight since New Years.

You can see how the much the daylight and sun angles have changed so far this year below with these screenshots from Lightrac, my favorite app to track sunrise and sunset overlaid on a map.

Below check out almost two weeks of action from all over Long Island with the cover shot going to Fred Lingen with a beautiful scene in front of the Fire Island Lighthouse.

If a particular image gets your attention, let me know and I can get you in touch with the photographer for a print!
