Best of the Long Island Sun Chasers 2-9-2018

Another week of spectacular Long Island landscapes from the Long Island Sun Chasers.

After a brutal start to the year, we have settled into a mellower weather pattern. While I miss the ice, the surf and sky put on a great winter show this week anyway.

Highlights this week include a brilliant red sky behind the Fire Island Lighthouse on Tuesday morning. A large group of Sun Chasers shot the scene together from the same spot but as you will see below each came home with something a little different.

This week’s cover goes to Andy Craig, with one of a few brilliant drone images over the Great South Bay Bridge.
