So far it has been a tough Spring and early Summer for people who live for the weekend.  I don’t have the data to back it up but it seems like we have had a little rain and overcast almost every weekend followed by great weather once the work week starts up.  Fortunately, we are getting a break this weekend and into the big 4th of July with sunny and hot beach weather forecast well into next week!

The highlight this week were the storms that rolled through yesterday and the beautiful clouds left over as the last of the front passed offshore last night.  As usual the Long Island Sun Chasers were out and captured the scene from multiple vantage points all over the South Shore.  One cloud in particular stood out, hanging over the Ocean and lit up perfectly by the setting sun as you will see below.

You will also see images from all ends of the Island from Montauk and Orient out east all the way to the Brooklyn riverfront to the west.

This week’s cover shot is from Pat Deluca with a beautiful foggy sunrise from the Smith Point Fishing Pier.

If you have a minute, try to scroll through all 5 pages and have a great summer weekend!
