Best of the Long Island Sun Chasers 8-18-17

This week the Long Island Sun Chasers were busy, spreading out in all directions and capturing Long Island in its finest light.

This week includes some great images from Montauk, Sag Harbor, Baiting Hollow, Setauket, Woodmere, and Blue Point along with the usual hotspots at Smith Point, Captree and Robert Moses.

One of the highlights this week was the surf churned up by Hurricane Gert which made picking this week’s cover shot by Kathleen Fasano an easy choice.
