After the program, extend your stay at Sailors Haven and explore the Sunken Forest – a 300 year old globally rare holly maritime forest, or head back to Cherry Grove on your own. Take the 9:25 am Cherry Grove Ferry from Sayville and meet the park ranger on Fire Island at Cherry Grove ferry landing at 10 am.
