National Public Lands Day Patchogue River Cleanup

September 21, 2019 @ 10:00 am - 12:00 pm

Fire Island National Seashore is partnering with local businesses, the Village of Patchogue, and hundreds of volunteers to host the Fourth Annual National Public Lands Day Patchogue River Clean Up. Come show your love for the river and the Great South Bay by helping to remove debris from the Patchogue River and surrounding neighborhood streets. Start the day at the Patchogue Watch Hill Ferry Terminal for information about the event activities, cleanup locations, and to pick up your cleanup supplies. At noon, head on over to Drift 82 to celebrate the day’s accomplishments with the big weigh in, vendors, educational activities, and delicious Mac N’Cheese donated by local establishments competing for the public’s vote. Rain date Saturday, September 28, 2019.
