Pick it Up! Beach Cleanup at F.I.N.S. Saturday!

Join The Riverhead Foundation for Marine Research and Preservation and Fire Island National Seashore for this volunteer coastal cleanup –part of the Pick It Up initiative to eradicate debris from New York’s Beaches. Learn about the sources of marine debris and the impact it has on marine life; document the trash collected to help inform ocean policy and ensure the future health of the marine ecosystem. Bring work gloves if possible. Meet at Fire Island National Seashore Visitor Center at Smith Point.
