Private Ansel Adams ‘Sight and Feeling’ Exhibit Access
February 24, 2017 @ 11:00 am - 1:00 pm
$45.00We have been granted a one-hour private docent/educator-led tour of the decades of photographic works by Ansel Adams at the Nassau Art Museum in Roslyn. This is a great visual presentation dedicated to his historic photography career and a great opportunity to see his works up-close and in private. The educator will also tell us about the historic home that is housing Ansel Adams’ work and is now known as the Nassau Art Museum. When the private tour concludes we will then be permitted to roam around to view the rest of the exhibits and photograph the sprawling grounds that include a sculpture garden and nature trails.
The other exhibits at the Nassau Art Museum that we will have private access to are works by Richard Avedon, Andreas Gursky, Diane Arbus, Minor White, Wynn Bullock, Imogen Cunningham, Harry Callahan, Henri Cartier-Bresson, Edward Weston, Alfred Stieglitz, Edward Steichen and others.
