Winter Beach Botany Walk

This winter’s walk will identify plants growing upon the barrier beach as we visit dune, swale and bay shoreline habitats. Identifying plants in winter without their leave and flowers can be challenging and fun and a great way to experience the chilly season on Fire Island. Roundtrip walk – 1 mile.
