Fishing with Pablo: Some great action before fall's striped bass run

As the calendar turns to October, prime fishing season is upon us.

We are getting reports of tons of bait still staging in the bay; it is just a matter of time before they start flushing out of the inlets and kicking up the fall striped bass run.

Bluefish are also still in the bays and will hit anything cast near them. Below are some shots of bait and blues taken from Moriches to Bellport Bay this past weekend.
