Hurricane Jose Erosion on Fire Island

While Hurricane Jose is expected to pass well to our east today and tomorrow, the surf it is generating is impacting our local beaches. Since Saturday evening, many beaches have been inundated at high tide that should only get worse as we the storm passes closer and we approach the new moon.
