On Saturday, April 19th I had a photo assignment to see how Covid-19 was effecting Montauk. Knowing conditions would be great, I left at 3:00 a.m. to try to get some Milky shots from the bluffs of Camp Hero before sunset. The Moon didn’t rise until 5:30 (page 3) which gave me a nice window to work with extremely clear skies and low light pollution. I think the lack of air pollution due to the lockdown also helped. I also shot some natural sound video of the sunrise at the lighthouse above and a bunch of shots around town on the 4 pages below.
