The forecast was for a mostly cloudy day but when I checked the Fireislandandbeyond.com surf cam from Davis Park I could see a nice sunrise developing and headed to the Smith Point Outer Beach for a ride to Moriches Inlet.

I stopped by the walkway that leads to the beach from the Smith Point Campground for a few shots while I aired down my tires and took some natural sound video. I will follow up with an update on the dredging project which is repositioning and may continue well into December.
