Tropical Storm Isaias rolled into Long Island last Tuesday and the impacts are still being felt. Immediately after the storm up to 1/3 of the 1.1 Million customers of PSEG-Long Island lost power and as of this writing more than 15,000 customers are still waiting for restoration. My family was out of service until late Sunday afternoon and I certainly feel bad for those still affected.
I was out with my cameras as things picked up Tuesday afternoon at Bellport Marina and captured the images below at the beginning of the storm. At this point the winds were out of the Southeast.
