I had the pleasure of speaking about wildlife photography last night for the Great South Bay Audubon Society.  What a great group!  I hoped to find the one of the Eagles that roams Carmans River and the Eastern Great South Bay last night for my presentation but only got a very far shot that had to be heavily cropped.

As luck would have it, I saw the Eagle this morning in the same tree and jumped in my boat for a short ride to get a better look.  I set up a nice drift, cut the engine and let the wind push me closer until another boat spooked him.  It have been watching this same Eagle for 6 years now but it never gets old.
