Another sign of Winter is the annual arrival of Seals from their summer grounds.
This Seal was spotted right off the beach at Smith Point 10-26-16 travelling west toward Old Inlet.
Dr. Artie Kopelman of Cresli tells me he has heard of another Seal around Shinnecock a few weeks ago and the rest of the winter population will not be far behind.
