Racers were greeted with spectacular weather once again for this year’s Great South Bay Paddle Board Race on Saturday.

The race involved paddle boarders heading out from the Bay Shore Yacht Club to the buoy in front of the Robert Moses Causeway bridge and back.

This was a 3-mile round trip. But some made the trip twice, for the big 6-mile race.

The event, organized by Karen Marvin, the owner of South Shore Paddleboards in Babylon, raised money for the Save the Great South Bay nonprofit group.

The 6-mile race winners were:

1st Place (male): Billy Swezey Jr.

1st Place (female): Evelyn O’Doherty

1st Place (junior): Billy Marvin
