I got over to Davis Park for this first time since last fall this past Saturday.
Unlike many winters in the past, there was no ice damage to the marina and everything looks to be in great shape. Considering that Watch Hill Marina is still under going a big renovation, expect the Davis Park Marina to be even busier than normal this season.
The beach appeared to take a beating over the winter with very little sand in both directions. The tides had been running higher than normal last weekend so hopefully we see some more beach in the coming weeks.
The Davis Park Casino Bar had a tremendous turnout for their annual Kentucky Derby party and will now be open on weekends up until Memorial Day when the 7 day schedule starts.
