All time records lows for this date were set all over the Northeast this morning with most of Long Island bottoming out in the mid twenties!

I checked out sunrise at Smith Point Beach this morning and found conditions perfect for sea smoke over the ocean with a brisk north wind.

I usually see this once or twice during deep winter but never as early as November or even December.

At the bottom check out some video from last January of the same phenomenon.

I will post some drone footage later.
