Now the Whale was very close to moving out of Moriches Bay into the very narrow channel that leads to Quantuc Bay.
Once again I chose not to publish my photos because I felt the Whale was in grave danger and would not want to contribute to it’s demise.
I feared any boat traffic in such a narrow body of water would easily push the Whale into the shallows.
Sometime between Friday afternoon and Sunday the Whale traveled all the way back and very close to freedom before getting stuck in Hart’s Cove.
