Last weekend end I stopped by Shinnecock Inlet looking for a Seal or two but found no takers. The ocean wasn’t very rough but apparently the angle of the waves created a ricochet effect allowing the waves to crash and over-wash on the backside of the inlet. I took some DSLR video and images and also tried out a new Iphone gimbal that uses drone technology to stay stable. It would have been great to capture with the drone but the wind was too extreme.
