The Arctic weather pattern has thickened the ice on the Great South Bay, unfortunately a warm front will be arriving and ruining the chance for a solid freeze and the fun that would bring.
The video and images below were taken with a DJI Phantom 4 Pro Drone in Brookhaven this morning. Due to pilot error the drone was not up to catch the brilliant light show at sunrise, however I have a gallery of those images with my traditional setup here.
