After a hot, and muggy August I was hoping September would live up to its billing as the nicest month of the year but two weeks in we are still waiting. The Sun finally appeared on Friday afternoon after what seemed like a few weeks of fog, clouds and rain but after seeing the havoc created by Hurricane Florence I have no right to complain. Despite the weather, The Long Island Sun Chasers continue to showcase some amazing and creative photography from all corners of our Island.
One upside of the weather pattern has been some great storm chasing opportunities with some nice lightning and shelf clouds included in the collection below. Besides the storm shots below you will find a nice variety of images from Montauk, Orient Point, Three Mile Harbor, Robert Moses, Captree, Jones Beach, Captree, Bellport, Blue Point, Port Jefferson and Long Beach to name a few locations.
If you would like on of these images for your home or office, let me know and I can put you in touch with the photographer.
Enjoy the weekend!
