A very loud and active Thunderstorm moved across Suffolk County at Dawn on Wednesday, waking me up and briefly knocking out power. Since it wasn’t raining yet I sent my drone up from my backyard and was amazed by the views. The rising sun was illuminating the clouds and big rain shaft developed. I stayed up until the rain started. The storm was also beautiful over the bay, I took a few shots from Bellport Dock on page 3. You will notice on a few of the shots it looks like they were taken in late Fall with orange leaves. The salt from last week’s tropical storm damaged the leaves on trees near the water.
