The Long Island Wildlife Photography group is doing a fantastic job capturing the Fall migration and thanks to the usual big help from Jim Botta, we have compiled some of the best shots of the week on the 8 pages below.
Notable finds this week include black-throated green warbler, brown thrasher, eastern towhee, hognose snake, hairy woodpecker, indigo bunting, marbled godwit, roseate spoonbill, rose-breasted grosbeak, prairie warbler, Nashville warbler, black-throated blue warbler, northern parula, and even a red bat!
This week’s cover shot goes to Brian Doherty with another epic image of a breaching humpback whale. Also don’t miss the hognose snake video from Natalie Ann on the last page.
