Despite the colder than normal temperatures and even some May snow flurries on Saturday, the Long Island Wildlife Photography group had a fantastic week with a huge variety of local wildlife.  Some notable finds this week include Little Blue Heron, Great Crested Flycatcher, Blue-Winged Warbler, Cerulean Warbler, Blackpoll Warbler, Brown Bat, Common Yellowthroat, Louisiana Waterthrush, Summer Tanager, Rose-Breasted Grosbeak, American Redstart, White-Faced Ibis, Prothonotary Warbler, and Broad-Winged Hawk to name a few.  Also don’t miss some more great videos from Natalie Ann on the last page.

This week’s cover shot sticks with the Mother’s day theme with Canada Goose and Goslings from Jill Weigold-Wendling.

Thanks to Jim Botta for helping pick out the photos and to everyone that contributes to the page!

If you have a few extra minutes try to check out all 11 pages and feel free to share!
