LEATHERBACK (DERMOCHELYS CORIACEA) VULNERABLE
The Largest sea turtle is the leatherback, reaching 6 feet long and weighing up to 1300 pounds.
Unlike other turtles, it does not have a shell on it’s back, but rather a thick leather skin.
These turtles are great long range swimmers and can be found on any ocean around the globe except for the Arctic and Antarctic.
