I checked out Old Inlet last Sunday during an extremely low tide. The channel into the ocean looks a lot better than it did late last fall and the new bar that was forming across the outer channel is gone. Unfortunately, it appears that an incredible amount of sand is now clogging most of the channels inside the bay. It should be interesting how things evolve before boating season.
