The Nor’easter that pounded the area on Friday into Saturday is now well out to sea but still having an impact on our area.

Minor coastal flooding has continued all along the south shore, with some of the worst of it today almost 48 hours after the storm passed.

I took some drone footage along Carmans River in Brookhaven where the marina and entire marsh were inundated in mid afternoon.

I also took a very short flight over Bellport Dock but as you will see at the end of the video, it may have been a little too windy for the drone.

The action on the ocean was even better, I will have another post up in the morning with some action from Smith Point and the Davis Park Surf Cam.

I hate to mention it but another coastal storm may effect our area Wednesday and this one has the potential for a significant snowfall.   Check back tomorrow on our weather tab and will have the latest video weather discussion from Steve DiMartino of NYNJPA Weather.
